Three Core Capabilities That Drive SI

Laser Processing Technology

A deep technical understanding of the fundamental principles governing light–matter interactions.
This expertise allows us to propose the optimal configuration for any target process.
We optimize wavelength, pulse width, repetition rate, energy density, and scanning conditions.

Optical & Mechanical Design

Design and assembly of optics, mechanics, and software.
Automation, modularization, and more.

Procurement

Sourcing and procurement capability.

System Integration

01 Requirements Definition

We break down customer requests — “I want to process this” or “I need this kind of equipment” — all the way down to the underlying principles of light–matter interaction.
Because the conditions a customer specifies aren’t always optimal, we consult with them, drawing on our own expertise, before moving to testing. We listen to what success looks like, and assess what outcomes are realistically achievable based on Quantec’s experience. All of this is done in service of proposing the “process-first optimal solution.”

Process Design

02 Process Design

“Process first’ is our core advantage.
Through test machining, we define why a given wavelength is used for processing and how much parameter tolerance exists. We don’t stop at achieving the desired outcome — we go one step further to understand why it works. This deeper understanding is what allows us to deliver stable, problem-resistant equipment when it comes time for production.

03 Design & Build

We design and develop the results from testing into an integrated machining system.
Leveraging our in-house design assets, we develop the mechanics, controls, and software to customer specifications. Components are sourced directly from domestic and international suppliers, selected based on our engineers’ technical judgment. By evaluating component specifications in-house before procurement, we reduce dependence on any single country’s supply chain.
We design and manufacture in-house, taking full responsibility for completing the system from prototype to mass-production equipment.

Delivery

04 Delivery

We deliver the equipment tailored to the customer's environment.
Following delivery, our engineers provide maintenance and process-related support whenever issues arise.

Process Driven Design

Process Driven Design

―― Process first. Not the equipment.

Our system integration, backed by three core capabilities, is what we call “Process Driven Design.”
By designing systems with the process as the starting point,
we are able to deliver high-precision laser processing systems that stay reliable and trouble-free long after installation.

Shorter takt time, cost reduction, reproducibility, special quality requirements — priorities differ from customer to customer.
Because we design from the process outward, we can realize the laser processing that is optimal for each customer’s specific goals.
